Secretary-General, the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC)
Takorn Tantasith is Secretary-General of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), Thailand. He was appointed Secretary-General in January 2012 for a five-year term. In late 2016, he was reappointed for a second term starting 5 January 2017. Prior to this, he was Acting Secretary-General of the NBTC, and Secretary-General of the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC). In 1982, Takorn graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Second-Class Honors) from Ramkhamhaeng University, Thailand. He also holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from Detroit University, USA, in 1986. In 2013, Takorn received an honorary doctorate in Public Administration from Prince of Songkla University, Thailand.
