Mark-Rigolle

Mark Rigolle is the COO and acting CFO of Rivada Space Networks, an innovative satellite company building an enterprise-grade data network in space. He has more than 25 years of experience in the telecom and satellite sector. Most recently he was the CEO of KLEO Connect and before that of LeoSat Enterprises. He has advised several promising space start-ups, helping them to bring their projects to a sufficient level of maturity to allow them to raise capital, acquire spectrum and grow their businesses. Before that he was CEO of O3b Networks, successfully raising USD 1.2B to launch this first communication satellite constellation. Between 2004 and 2009 he was Chief Financial Officer and member of the Executive Committee of SES, one of the leading satellite operators in the world. Before joining SES, Mark held various positions in Business Development and Finance at Belgacom. During his 10 years at the Company, he rapidly evolved from Treasurer, Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer to Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Belgacom, he worked for ABN AMRO and for Sanwa Bank as Corporate Account Officer. Mark holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Leuven, Belgium.
