Environment of satellite manufacturing business has been dramatically changing. The market has been focusing significant cost reductions by digitalization, standardization and miniaturization, and these trends will become clearer within the upcoming few years. Those who do not have viable roadmaps and strategies to cope with those may have to face issues of survivability. The panelists’ companies have multiple satellite product lines and capabilities – GEO and NGSO satellites, large and small satellites, digital and analogue satellites, bus and payload, communication and other missions, “old” space and “new” space mindsets, traditional customers and new customers, etc., and are therefore in a position to analyze, digest and discuss about the changing market environment from comprehensive viewpoints.
