SMALLSAT IS A FUTURE OF SATELLITE BUSINESS?

It is expected that in 10 years, today’s smallsat market will grow 2~2.5 times to 1000~1300 a year. Smallsat is no longer a cheap bed of technical verification and scientific R&D, but is playing significant roles in commercial services and military operations. Efficient and low cost smallsat design and manufacturing methods, experiences in mass production, etc. are also significantly influencing GEO satellite products and manufacturing. Cubesat supply chains are expanding their presences in other smallsat, and in some cases, small GEO markets.
